Abstract

In the current stage of English classroom teaching in higher vocational colleges, there are still some deficiencies under the influence of traditional teaching concepts, and the students’ English learning effect is not good. English classroom teaching in higher vocational colleges must carry out teaching reform, explore effective teaching strategies, and improve the quality and efficiency of English teaching. Teachers should stimulate students’ interest in learning and promote students’ efficient learning; teach students in accordance with their aptitude to improve the overall learning quality of students; pay attention to basic language teaching and improve students’ English application ability.
