Surapati Pramanik, Ph. D. has been working as an assistant professor in mathematics since 2006 at Nandalal Ghosh B.T. College, Panpur, Narayanpur, Dist- North 24 Parganas.

He received a Ph. D. in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur and Ph. D. in Education, an M. Sc. and an M. Ed. from the University of Kalyani.

He acts as a Ph. D. supervisor in Mathematics for Jadavpur University and IIEST, Shibpur.

His research focuses on applied mathematics, Operation Research, Soft Computing, Fuzzy and Neutrosophic Hybrid Sets, Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM), Comparative Education, Mathematics Education.

His research earned outstanding paper awards several times in West Bengal State Science and Technology Congress in mathematics (2008, 2011, 2018, 2020) and Social Sciences (2010, 2013, 2019).

His paper with Prof. Debjani Guha earned the outstanding paper award in the West Bengal State Science and Technology Congress-2019 for the work dealing with mathematics curriculum at secondary level.

He is an editorial board member of 13 international journals such as “Neutrosophic Sets and Systems”- USA , and “Current Chinese Science: Artificial Intelligence & Robotics”- China.

His publication includes:

v     03 editorial books (foreign international publisher)

He acts as a reviewer for more than 65 international journals and reviews 302 manuscripts for international journals.

He is a life member of thirteen scientific organizations including Calcutta Mathematical Society, and ISI, Kolkata.

He is a lifetime fellow Member of “ International Society for Development and Sustainability (ISDS), Japan - Lifetime Fellow Member ( ID is M23110177)- August 16, 2021.

He delivered invited lectures at Universal Science Education and Research Network (USERN) Congress- 2020, 2021, 2022 and other International Conferences, Workshops and FDP.
