Research on the Impact of Academic Stress on Learning Satisfaction among Mechanical Engineering Majors in Chinaby Chenglin Wang, Kou Heung*
Lifelong Education , Vol.14, No.2, 2025; 5 Views
With the rapid development of higher education in China and the continuous optimization of talent cultivation models, the issue of academic stress faced by university students has become increasingly prominent. As a representative of traditional engineering disciplines, the mechanical engineering major is characterized by high course density, strong practicality, and significant employment pressure, making it a high-incidence area for academic stress. At the same time, learning satisfaction, as an important indicator for measuring students’ sense of educational fulfillment and developmental potential, is influenced by various factors. Starting from the structural manifestations of academic stress, this paper systematically explores its impact pathways on learning satisfaction, analyzes the negative effects of stressors such as course load, practical tasks, examination systems, and interpersonal support at cognitive, emotional, and behavioral levels, and proposes intervention strategies including optimizing teaching design, strengthening support systems, and enhancing professional identity. The research finds that academic stress significantly affects students’ satisfaction levels through mechanisms such as weakening self-efficacy, altering emotional experiences, and reducing goal identification. This suggests that universities need to adopt systematic measures to achieve the dual enhancement of educational quality and student well-being.

A Multidimensional Study of Women’s Power and Status in Tibetan Societyby Dai Ming
Lifelong Education , Vol.14, No.2, 2025; 8 Views
This study explores the roles and status of Tibetan women in family and society through field investigation and literature review. The results show that although Tibetan women have certain rights in family property inheritance, their participation in social and political decision-making is relatively low. After the democratic reform in the 1950s, their legal status was enhanced, but their social participation did not significantly increase. Modernization, increased educational opportunities, and changes in social policies have had a positive impact on improving women’s status, but gender equality still faces challenges. The study emphasizes the influence of Tibetan Buddhist culture on women’s status and examines the transformation of women’s images. This research provides an in-depth perspective for understanding the status of Tibetan women and offers theoretical and practical guidance for gender equality policies. Future research should explore how economic development, legal reforms, and cultural transformations affect the status and roles of Tibetan women to promote gender equality.

Research on Human Resource Incentive Mechanism and Teacher Career Development in Private Higher Vocational Colleges in Sichuanby Linjian Xie, Nik Hasnaa Nik Mahmood
Lifelong Education , Vol.14, No.2, 2025; 3 Views
The career development of teachers in private vocational colleges is closely linked to the human resource incentive mechanism. By analyzing the current status of the incentive mechanism, this paper explores how to stimulate teachers’ enthusiasm and creativity through optimizing the salary system, providing a career development platform, and strengthening professional training. The improved incentive mechanism can enhance teachers’ sense of belonging, improve work efficiency, and promote academic improvement. In addition, establishing a diversified evaluation system and incentive methods is conducive to teachers’ self-development, thereby improving the quality of education and the effectiveness of student training. Optimizing the incentive mechanism not only has a positive effect on teachers’ personal development but also promotes the long-term development of the entire vocational college education industry.

Enhancing Graduate Employability Through Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Managementby Qiuyan Xu, Nik Hasnaa Nik Mahmood
Lifelong Education , Vol.14, No.2, 2025; 8 Views
In the current complex and ever-changing economic environment, vocational colleges are facing dual challenges of innovation and entrepreneurship education and employment guidance education. As an important means to enhance students’ comprehensive quality and employability, innovation and entrepreneurship education urgently needs systematic innovation in educational concepts, curriculum design, and practical platforms. Building a new education management model guided by market demand, bridged by school enterprise cooperation, and centered on practical teaching can effectively enhance students’ entrepreneurial awareness and employment competitiveness. At the same time, a comprehensive policy support system, a sound employment service network, and a continuously promoted teacher training mechanism also provide strong guarantees for the sustainable development of innovation, entrepreneurship, and employment education.

Incorporating Traditional Chinese Health Preservation Theories into College Sports Managementby shuting TAN, Zhen LIU, Hongmei WEN
Lifelong Education , Vol.14, No.2, 2025; 4 Views
This paper explores the integration of Traditional Chinese Health Preservation Theories (TCHPT) into college sports management, emphasizing a holistic approach to student well-being. Central to TCHPT are concepts such as Yin and Yang, the Five Elements, and the flow of Qi, which offer a balanced perspective on health. Practices like Tai Chi, Qigong, and dietary therapy are proposed as valuable additions to the sports curriculum, addressing both physical and mental health. Current challenges in college sports management, including limited course diversity and low student engagement, are examined. Case studies from XYZ University and ABC College demonstrate the positive impacts of integrating TCHPT, such as improved fitness and reduced stress. The paper advocates for further research and strategic implementation to foster a more inclusive and effective sports management system, aligning with the trend towards integrative health.

Exploring Dimensions of Learner Engagement in Remote Learning Guided by Self-Determination Theoryby Shuya Hao
Lifelong Education , Vol.14, No.2, 2025; 4 Views
Due to the wide usage of remote learning, people begin to focus on learners’ behavior in learning process. Self-Determination Theory plays an important role in explaining learners’ motivation. This paper intends to explore learners’ engagement influencing factors in remote learning context based on Self-Determination Theory and analyzes the impact of three kinds of support, i.e., autonomy, competence and relatedness on learner engagement. Through theoretical analysis, the paper constructs the framework to analyze the support mechanism in remote learning three dimensions. The result shows that learners’ engagement will be greatly affected by the three dimensions of autonomy, competence and relatedness. Meanwhile, autonomy and competence support are the major determinants of learners’ engagement. It is necessary to improve support strategy in remote learning and give full play to the role of autonomy and timely feedback.

Research on Ubiquitous Learning Environments from an Ecological Perspectiveby Kong Hanlin
Lifelong Education , Vol.14, No.2, 2025; 5 Views
Ubiquitous learning has become a crucial direction for the next generation of digital learning and represents an ideal model for future education. The construction of a ubiquitous learning environment serves as the foundation and guarantee for its successful implementation. The widespread application of ecological theory in the field of digital learning provides a basis and framework for researching learning ecosystems in ubiquitous learning environments. The ubiquitous learning environment model consists of three key components: the ubiquitous learning ecosystem, the supportive environment for system development, and the social ecosystem. Within the ubiquitous learning ecosystem, the two critical populations are the user population and the resource population, which maintain a symbiotic relationship. To achieve a harmonious ubiquitous learning environment, three key challenges must be addressed: hard technologies, soft technologies, and pedagogical methods.
