Abstract

This paper explores the integration of Traditional Chinese Health Preservation Theories (TCHPT) into college sports management, emphasizing a holistic approach to student well-being. Central to TCHPT are concepts such as Yin and Yang, the Five Elements, and the flow of Qi, which offer a balanced perspective on health. Practices like Tai Chi, Qigong, and dietary therapy are proposed as valuable additions to the sports curriculum, addressing both physical and mental health. Current challenges in college sports management, including limited course diversity and low student engagement, are examined. Case studies from XYZ University and ABC College demonstrate the positive impacts of integrating TCHPT, such as improved fitness and reduced stress. The paper advocates for further research and strategic implementation to foster a more inclusive and effective sports management system, aligning with the trend towards integrative health.
