Abstract

This study selects the new Middle School English textbook published by Yilin Press and Cambridge Secondary 1 Student Book 7 published by Oxford University Press as research objects to conduct a comparative analysis of the thematic content of English textbooks for junior high schools in China and the UK. This research aims to provide fresh insights for English textbook studies and practical guidance for the international advancement of textbooks through multi-dimensional comparative analyses.
