    The Effectiveness of Social Media Support for Caregivers: A Systematic Review

    Background:  Caring for patients living with long term conditions is a long-term task. The augmenting use of social media (SM) supports for health information and communication has created new opportunities for new models of health-care.  Objectives:  This study aimed to explore the effectiveness of SM support for caregivers.  Methods:  This systematic review mainly includes research over the past decade on caregivers for chronic diseases, with the results focusing on SM support for caregivers.  Results:  This literature review found that SM-based interventions can meet caregivers’ needs and have a positive impact on caregiver burden (CB) of chronic diseases such as cancer, dementia and stroke. Experimental studies of health interventions for stroke caregivers (SCs) through WeChat interventions have been limited.  Conclusion:  More quantitative studies are needed in the future to explore the effectiveness of WeChat as an intervention in the burden of SCs.

    Improving the Governance Mechanism for Responding to Public Health Emergencies under COVID-19

    The outbreak of COVID-19 in December 2019 has been spreading in China and even around the world, and public health emergencies will have certain impact on the country’s stable development. The government provides a variety of public services for building a harmonious society, including public health services. The government is at the forefront of COVID-19 epidemic management. Effective governance mechanisms will reduce the spread of the epidemic, maintain the image of the government and keep social stability. Therefore, it is of great strategic significance to improve the government’s governance mechanism for responding to public health emergencies. Based on the epidemic background of COVID-19, this article expounds the current situation of the government’s governance mechanism for responding to public health emergencies in China, explains the significance of the construction of the mechanism. Suggestions are put forward on improving the construction of the government’s governance mechanism for responding to public health emergencies, so as to better respond to public health emergencies in the future.

    Research on the Clinical Effect of Rehabilitation Nursing for Patients with Heart Failure

    Objective:  To analyze the clinical effect of rehabilitation nursing for patients with heart failure. Methods:  200 cases were selected from patients with heart failure admitted to the hospital from March to December, 2019. They were divided into two groups by digital list. The control group was given traditional nursing, while the experimental group was given rehabilitation nursing. The nursing quality of the two groups was compared. Results:  In terms of average hospitalization days and discharge satisfaction, the results of the experimental group were better than those of the control group, and the data difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion:  In the nursing process of patients with heart failure, the application of rehabilitation nursing can effectively enhance the therapeutic index of patients, which is of positive significance to the improvement of patients’ satisfaction rate on nursing and is worth popularizing in clinical practice.
