The Citizenship Education in China: Ideal, Reality and Prospect

Abstract

This article introduces the development of civic education in China, and citizenship education system has three main components from the content, including citizenship education, patriotism education and moral education. It puts forward prospects from the perspective of goals, tasks, characteristics, organization, education fairness and implementing methods.
