Abstract

As an important art subject, music not only has a long history, but the artistic value it exhibits can have an important impact on the future development of students. The differences in the national culture, customs, religious beliefs, and values of Western countries also make the history of Western music development and works differ greatly. This article explores the close connection between the history of Western music and the analysis of works in the music classroom of colleges and universities from different perspectives, hoping to provide reference for other teachers.
