Abstract

Hospice nurses are important members of the medical team. They are constantly exposed to the death of patients and the grief of their families, making them highly susceptible to job burnout. This study aims to explore the specific manifestations, assess the severity, and identify the key factors influencing job burnout by investigating and analyzing the job burnout situation of hospice nurses. The research shows that psychological resilience has a significant alleviating effect on job burnout. Therefore, this paper proposes interventions from the individual level, organizational level, and the design of psychological resilience training programs to enhance the psychological resilience of hospice nurses, reduce job burnout, and improve their job satisfaction and the quality of nursing care.
