Biorefinery and Autonomous Systems focuses on the integration of autonomous technologies with biorefinery processes. It is intended to attract submissions focusing on AI-driven optimization methods, IoT for real-time monitoring, waste minimization and efficiency and techniques to address waste-to-wealth systems. The journal aims to bridge Industry 4.0 technologies with food and energy production processes, to align with the global need of sustainable resources and alternatives. Works of interest will include sustainable biorefineries, AI and IoT in biorefinery and LCA/TEA of modern biorefineries. The areas include, but are not limited to:
1. Biorefinery processes and design 2. Autonomous control of biorefinery processes. 3. AI and IoT for biorefinery process optimization. 4. Human-machine interfaces in biorefineries. 5. Blockchain for biorefinery traceability. 6. Autonomous systems for food production. 7. Autonomous systems for energy production. 8. Policy and safety of biorefinery automation. 9. Life cycle assessment of biorefinery processes. 10. Techno-economic analysis of biorefinery processes. 11. Industry 4.0 in biorefinery operations.
PiscoMed Publishing started off with a focus in advancing medical research; however, with the advancement of all areas of science, technology and medicines, PiscoMed has decided to venture into all areas of research, publishing quality journals that will support the scholarly and professional community across the globe.
