Dear Colleagues,

In a globalized world, in a time of change, strategic management of human resources becomes an indisputable factor in the competitive advantage of companies and economies in multisectoral cooperation. Human resources management is no longer determined by its primary area of interest, such as organizational psychology and sociology, but is linked, permeates and is based on other areas of business management, such as change management, crisis management and transparent management in order to create a clear and participatory organizational culture which helps people to understand the above, and to acquire new methods, techniques and tactics. The importance of developing digital age skills such as empathy, agility, collaboration, analytical and creative approach to a problem based on divergent opinion is becoming imperative for the modern employer and employee. Also, the skills to manage conflicts, diversity and multiculturalism are very important. Speaking in the context of the election, it should already be defined in the policies of the economies of certain countries and harmonized with the needs of the labor market, because knowledge becomes obsolete very quickly, as does the majority of the population of more developed economies. On the other hand, developing economies also need to develop the necessary skills. Modern employee should have specialized knowledge, however, he should still know the broader context of activities, and for this purpose the transparency and openness of the employer is important. In this, well-known methods of employee selection are still used, from recommendation to interviewing and casuistic session. Today, in the selection itself, especially in the interviewing process, perhaps social and emotional intelligence is more important than cognitive, although it must be guaranteed. Social and emotional intelligence determine tendency, adaptation and motivation.

However, everything stated in the previous paragraph, especially in the last sentence, does not mean how we will get a good worker. When talking about this, one should take into account his needs, aspirations and interests and enable him to fulfill the aforementioned in order to be more productive and perform a quality assimilation through the developmental boundaries of his own career. There is a great emphasis on free time, diversity and rotations in the workplace and all other benefits that will enable his productivity, increasingly pronounced flexibility and the desire to learn new things. Also, there is a special emphasis on lifelong education, because the market is becoming hypercompetitive and progressive, increasingly undefined in the structure of the problem.

So, research articles, reviews and studies in this area of study are welcome. We look forward to receiving your contributions.
