In recent years, Many new models have emerged intensively, promoting the development of new remote sensing technologies, especially the physical parameter inversion technology.
It is well known that various models are used in remote sensing, such as Physical ,Empirical and Statistical model. Physical model is based on the development mechanism of things, it studies the quantitative process and results of the interaction of remote sensing information with transmission media and targets. It is a deterministic model based on physical laws. For example, atmospheric correction, scattering equation, etc. Empirical model is based on a large number of remote sensing information and the statistical results of its corresponding ground conditions. For example, interpretation marks. Statistical model is a type between physical model and empirical model. Its foundation is also based on physical mechanism. However, because there are too many factors affecting nature, the change is random from a certain scale of time and space, so the two are combined. For example, supervision classification.
The three models have their own development background and application scope, and are developed in parallel. In recent years, many new models have also been developed.
The mechanism of remote sensing is the mechanism or principle of the whole process of the electromagnetic wave emission, radiation, transmission through the atmosphere, and the detection, processing, analysis and application of the remote sensing.
Inversion is a technology that reverses the electromagnetic wave conditions in the formation process of the remote sensing image generated by the electromagnetic wave characteristics of the ground objects. The characteristics of remote sensing image are formed by the process of ground reflectivity, atmospheric action, etc. If the remote sensing image is taken as a known quantity to calculate an unknown parameter in the atmosphere that affects remote sensing image, that is, the remote sensing data will be converted into various characteristics parameters of the surface that people actually need. This process is remote sensing inversion. Remote sensing inversion is essentially a ill-conditioned inversion problem.
Therefore, we are interested in various models and applications in remote sensing, including physical models and statistical models, representation and establishment process of model functions, parameter adjustment of models, and application of models in atmospheric, hydrological, soil, wetland and other remote sensing.
For this, It is very important to collect the theoretical derivation, experimental verification and scientific application of models and inversion in the Inversion.
