The Introduction of the Special Issue

Using contemporary materials as well as cutting edge design methods in building design industry are always crucial for engineers and researchers. The effect of using high-performance materials on the behavior of structural members are of interest in this special issue. The seismic performance of the members constructed using new materials are to be investigated. Results are to be presented based on the experimental observations besides numerical and analytical studies.

Submitted articles should not be published or under review elsewhere. All submissions will be subject to the journal’s standard peer review process. Criteria for acceptance include originality, contribution, scientific merit and relevance to the field of interest of the Special Issue.
